Firefighters were able to control and extinguish a commercial building fire in Edina Tuesday morning.

The Bloomington, St. Louis Park and Richfield fire departments also assisted at the scene, along Bush Lake Road.

The fire began at about 7:15 a.m., apparently caused by a mobile phone or power strip, according to emails obtained from the company's CEO.

A fire clean-up crew worked to remove damaged furniture and building materials throughout the day.

The CEO stated in an email employees won't be able to access the building, which sustained smoke and water damage, for about a month.

Authorities said they were able to quickly extinguish the blaze.
