Eden Prairie Police Warn of Residential Break-Ins

Eden Prairie police are issuing a warning to residents about several residential burglaries and suspicious incidents in the last three weeks.

According to the crime alert, these incidents have involved homes with unlocked doors, garages, windows, patio doors and gates.

Police have observed a pattern that the incident happen overnight when residents are asleep at home.

Purses, wallets, computers and cash were stolen, and police note these are usually left near the unlocked entrance. 

Police also said there may be multiple suspects committing these crimes throughout the metro. They advise residents to lock their homes and cars in the evening and be wary of where valuables are put away.
