A shooting left one person dead in St. Paul early Wednesday morning.

According to a tweet from the St. Paul Police Department, an investigation is underway into a shooting death on the 900 block of University Avenue West. The shooting occurred just after 2 a.m. Wednesday morning.


The shooting took place outside of Johnny Baby's, a bar. During 2019 there were 99 calls for service to Johnny Baby's including a homicide in the parking lot according to the St. Paul police.
