Drone Footage: K-9 Deployment Now Subject of Lawsuit

January 30, 2018 04:53 PM

This drone footage picks up after authorities had already found Trevor Olesen hiding in an Anoka County dumpster.

Olesen has since filed a lawsuit alleging excessive force after a police K-9 was released on him in connection to the incident. His attorney says authorities had Olesen "under control" when the dog was released.

Fridley police said Olesen was resisting arrest when the K-9 was deployed.
