Authorities have identified two people killed in a head-on crash Monday in Polk County, Wisconsin.
The Polk County Sheriff's Office said its investigation revealed Geraldine Swanson, 67, of rural Turtle Lake, Wisconsin, was driving a 2002 Jeep Cherokee eastbound on U.S. Highway 8 at about 5:29 a.m. While driving, her vehicle crossed the center line and collided head-on with a westbound 2007 Chevrolet Impala, driven by 69-year-old Harvey Richter of rural Cumberland, Wisconsin.

Both drivers were killed in the crash. Neither vehicle had passengers at the time of the crash, the sheriff's office said.
The sheriff's office said it is still investigating what caused the crash.
