The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension reports nearly five dozen people are facing felony charges after arrests for attempting to solicit children for sex or for trafficking victims.
The arrests came from a BCA operation that occurred over the past week in the Twin Cities.
According to a release from the BCA, 47 people were booked on probable cause felony solicitation of a minor, and 11 people were booked on probable cause sex trafficking.

The BCA said 28 victims were rescued from sex trafficking situations, including one minor.
According to the BCA, the operation involved 33 criminal justice agencies.
"This operation is an example of the aggressive steps necessary to stop traffickers and johns who buy and sell people for sex in our communities," BCA Superintendent Drew Evans said in a statement. "We can't let this crime continue, and we must work together to stop it."
