It's still a little more than nine months away, but the first Grandstand show for the 2020 Minnesota State Fair has been announced.

The State Fair announced Monday morning that The Doobie Brothers, with special guest Dirty Dozen Brass Band, will be at the Grandstand on Aug. 28, 2020.

Tickets for the show will go on sale Dec. 6 at 10 a.m.

The Doobie Brothers have won four Grammy Awards, sold more than 48 million records worldwide and tallied five Top 10 singles and 16 Top 40 hits. They were inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 2004.

The Dirty Dozen Brass Band was founded in 1977 in New Orleans, and took the traditional foundation of brass band music and incorporated it into a blend of genres including bebop jazz, funk and R&B/soul. The group has toured across five continents and more than 30 countries, and has recorded 12 studio albums and collaborated with a range of artists from Modest Mouse to Widespread Panic to Norah Jones.

You can find more details here.

The State Fair also announced discount admission tickets are now on sale for the 2020 Great Minnesota Get-Together. The discount tickets are $12. Regular price admission for adults at this year's fair was $15.
