Minnesota Moment: Dog rescued from pond in Lake Elmo

Crews rescued a dog from a frozen pond in Lake Elmo on Sunday.

The City of Lake Elmo said on Facebook that Washington County and Lake Elmo firefighters rescued the dog from a pond off 38th Street.

Pictures showed the dog partially in water with its front paws on ice as rescuers went to help it.

The post said the dog was largely unharmed and reunited with its owner after being rescued.
