DNR to discuss response to CWD in wild deer

The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is expected to hold a public meeting about its response to chronic wasting disease found in deer in southeastern Minnesota, according to a news release from the department. 

The department is expected to discuss its response to the disease, including, "late-season special hunts, landowner shooting permits and targeted culling."
