Midtown Global Market celebrates Diwali

The celebration of Diwali, the Indian Festival of Lights is coming up on Oct. 27th, but people can start celebrating Saturday night at the Midtown Global Market in Minneapolis. 

Diwali is the largest and most widely celebrated Hindu festival. It originates in India and the holiday is an expression of happiness and the victory of light over darkness and good over evil.

Founder and CEO of Hot Indian Foods Amol Dixit share with KSTP the delicious food people are able to taste Saturday night. 

The event will start at 5 p.m. at the Midtown Global Market with Hot Indian Foods sponsoring the event and providing a variety of food and drinks specials.
