Digital Daily: World War II veteran takes trip back in time

Clarence Smoyer, a 95-year-old veteran of World War II, was being interviewed for a book about his unit in that conflict when he expressed an interest in riding in a Sherman tank again.

Author Adam Makos made a few calls. And when Smoyer traveled to Boston for Makos' book signing, the man who once dueled and defeated a German Panzer, was greeted outside his hotel by a 1944 Sherman tank.
