Digital Daily: Window washers in Oklahoma City rescued from swinging lift

May 15, 2019 04:28 PM

Dramatic helicopter video clearly shows two window washers trapped aboard a scaffold, swinging out of control up near the roof of the 52-story Devon Tower in Oklahoma City.

Firefighters were seen working to secure the basket with ropes as it dangled from a crane. Crews finally were able to stabilize it, pulling the workers to safety, after a terrifying 45 minutes.
