Digital Daily: Fake Sperm Whale in Madrid Raises Awareness of Sea Pollution

September 14, 2018 04:08 PM

Madrid woke on Friday to the sight of what appeared to be a 52-foot sperm whale washed up on the banks of the Spanish capital's Manzanares River.

The fake whale is the work of the Captain Boomer Collective, a group of artists which, together with Madrid's City Hall, aims to raise awareness on sea pollution.
