Day 12 of the Minnesota State Fair: 'Kids & Last Chance Day'

Monday is the 12th, and final, day of the Minnesota State Fair.

During Monday's "Kids & Last Chance Day" at the fair, there will be reduced admission, $10, for kids ages 5-12.


Special ride and game promotions will also be offered at the Mighty Midway and Kidway all day.

Many merchandise and food vendors will offer discounts Monday as well.

Additionally, from 10 a.m.-6 p.m., Hmong Minnesota Day will take place at Dan Patch Park. Programming will include songs, dances, visual arts and live music. Hmong community leaders will make opening statements, which will include a thank-you to veterans and military members.

Meanwhile, state fair attendees set a fourth record this year, with 209,789 people on the fairgrounds Friday.
