Coon Rapids boy gets 'Monster' surprise

Updated: February 13, 2020 05:04 PM

Nine-year-old Nathaniel of Coon Rapids got quite the surprise Thursday.

His father serves in the Minnesota National Guard and has been in the military for nearly 19 years.

Operation Homefront said thank you by teaming up with Monster Jam and decking Nathaniel's room out with everything Grave Digger, Nathaniel's favorite monster truck.

Grave Digger's driver, Adam Anderson, even made a visit!

As another special thank you to the military, Monster Jam is donating 150 tickets to Saturday's Monster Jam at U.S. Bank Stadium to local military families.
