A name for a baby giraffe born at the Como Zoo last month has been decided.

According to a news release from the City of St. Paul, the giraffe's name has been chosen to represent the state: 'Sota.' Over the MEA weekend, Minnesotans casted over 2,300 ballots in picking between Sota, Elliott and Fonzie. Sota captured 43% of the vote, followed by Elliot (37%) and Fonzie (20%).
