Chaska police say two bodies have been found in a pond where crews were searching for two missing teens.
Authorities said they believe the bodies are those of Zeynab Abdalla and Bushra Abdi, both 19 years old, who were last seen Saturday morning.
The search for the teens was focused on a retention pond near Engler Boulevard and State Highway 41 in Chaska. A car was found submerged in the pond earlier Sunday.
One body was found floating in the water and recovered, while the other body was found in the submerged car.
Police said the incident appears to be an accident. Tire tracks were seen leading to the pond.
Relatives said Abdalla and Abdi were taking a break together from their separate overnight jobs. Abdalla picked up Abdi and the last known contact with anyone came during a call to 911 for help from one of their cell phones. It pinged in the area of Highway 212 and Highway 41.

Family and community members were out searching for the teens in the southwest metro Sunday.
The Minnesota chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations issued a missing persons alert for Abdi and Abdalla Sunday. And the teenagers' families organized a wave of searches in the area.
At dusk, family members gathered around the pond watching police and firefighters search the water.
