One lane of southbound Snelling Avenue in Falcon Heights reopened after all lanes were closed Thursday morning due to a vehicle fire.

KSTP Traffic Reporter Josie Smith said a single lane reopened at about 9 a.m.

Smith said the fire occurred south of Roselawn Avenue.

She said early reports indicated those in the vehicle were able to safely exit.

She added drivers could take County Road B to Fairview or Hamline avenues to avoid the scene.
