The man who was sentenced to life in prison without parole for kidnapping a 13-year-old Wisconsin girl and killing her parents has been moved from the Barron County Jail, according to a jail official.
The Barron County Jail official confirmed Tuesday that Jake Patterson was moved from the jail to the Dodge Correctional Institution.

In March, 21-year-old Jake Patterson entered a guilty plea to two counts of intentional homicide and one count of kidnapping in connection with the fatal shootings of Jim and Denise Closs at their Barron County, Wisconsin, home in October as well as the abduction of Jayme Closs.
Patterson was sentenced by a Barron County judge Friday.
