1 hurt in St. Paul apartment building fire

Crews responded to an apartment fire in St. Paul early Friday morning.

Firefighters said the fire broke out at about 1:15 a.m. at an apartment building in the area of Cleveland and Hartford avenues in St. Paul.

One person at the building was transported to a nearby hospital with injuries that were not life threatening.

Fire officials said everyone in the building was displaced as a result of the incident. A press release from the Red Cross Friday morning said the organization was assisting 15 adults.
