Tuesday, Hennepin County passed a resolution declaring racism a public health crisis.
Hennepin County is one of 12 counties in the nation to take this action.
But what does it mean when racism is declared a public health crisis?
KSTP's Kevin Doran spoke with Yohuru Williams, a professor and civil rights expert at the University of St. Thomas about the topic.
