Officials in Hudson, Wisconsin are dealing with downtown vandalism.

In the last few weeks, the city removed porta potties from Lakefront Park after several were damaged.

The city placed the portable toilets there after a storm last month closed the park's restrooms.

The damage included ripping off the toilets and setting off fireworks in them.

"They are not going to station an officer in a parking lot to watch toilets 24 hours a day," Justin Kleist, owner of Five Star Restroom Rentals, said. "People who want to do this sort of damage are going to find a way to do it."

The cost to repair the damage was around $3,000.
