Chopper footage of Becker recycling plant fire

Firefighters responded Tuesday early Tuesday morning to the report of a debris fire at the Northern Metals Recycling in Becker.

As of 8:30 p.m., Wednesday, fire crews were still on scene battling the fire. They planned to be there through the night according to the Becker Police Department.

Day after fire began, crews remain at Becker recycling plant

Assistance has also been requested from the 55th Civil Support Unit Team of the National Guard and the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency.

The footage above shows firefighters working to extinguish the fire Tuesday afternoon.
