CHOPPER 5: Storm damage in western Wisconsin

Storm damage was surveyed in the sky through Chopper 5 this past week.

Cleanup continued on Monday in western Wisconsin after storms caused a significant amount of damage. Massive trees were knocked down onto homes, cabins and power lines by incredibly strong winds.

Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers has declared a State of Emergency, which activates the National Guard to help where needed. 

The Polk County Sheriff's Office said one person was hurt by touching a live power line after the storm, but they are expected to survive.

Officials said 7,000 people were without power on Friday night, and about half that number were still without power Sunday evening.
