A St. Paul man is charged with criminal sexual conduct after allegedly admitting to touching men inappropriately while giving massages at a Minneapolis salon spa.

Benjamin Arthur Lamb, 65, is charged with two counts of fourth-degree criminal sexual conduct.

According to a criminal complaint, Minneapolis police were called to meet with a man on Nov. 2, 2019, regarding a sexual assault complaint. The victim reported being sexually assaulted while receiving a massage at a salon spa in Minneapolis, and identified the masseur who assaulted him as Ben, who police later learned was Lamb.

The victim told police Lamb touched his inner thigh, then grabbed his genitals and started to masturbate the victim's penis. The victim told police he froze and couldn't react verbally or physically until it was over, the complaint states. After leaving, the victim called police.

While investigating the incident, police found another complaint filed against Lamb in 2016, in which the victim reported being sexually touched during a massage.

The complaint states investigators met with that victim and were told that Lamb touched the victim's genitals and inner thighs for several seconds. The victim told police he was shocked and froze, and Lamb stopped after seeing he didn't want to be touched by his facial expressions.

In an interview with Lamb, the complaint states Lamb admitted to having sexual contact with men at the salon. Lamb told police he gets a "perception" from a client and touches them sexually if he thinks they'd enjoy it, although he admitted some of the men probably didn't want to be touched in that way. He also acknowledged no discussion occurred before the sexual touching and that he acted on his own accord.

According to the complaint, Lamb told authorities he'd touched at least 50 men sexually.

Lamb is scheduled to appear in court on March 30.
