Charges: Grenade launcher, explosives among weapons found at Red Wing man's home

A Red Wing man is facing weapons and drug charges after authorities found a large stash of ammunition, accessories and weapons, including a grenade launcher, at his home.

According to court records, Chad Vernon Glasby, 39, is charged with two counts of firearm possession by a person convicted of a crime of violence and one count of fifth-degree drug possession.

A criminal complaint states investigators executed a search warrant at Glasby's home and found at least half a dozen weapons, including a 37mm "Blooper" mortar gun, grenades and explosive devices, a silencer, a laser level and assorted ammunition and magazines for firearms.

Investigators also found two digital scales and a plastic bag that tested positive for methamphetamine.
