Charges: Meth, firearms and functioning cannon found at couple's home in Meeker County

A Dassel couple faces multiple charges after authorities say methamphetamine, firearms and a functioning cannon were found at their home while a search warrant was being executed, according to court records.

A criminal complaint states Bret Wakefield and Ramona Wakefield were each charged with one count of first-degree sale of a controlled substance, one count of first-degree possession of a controlled substance and one count of unlawful firearm possession.

According to the complaint, the CEE-VI Drug and Gang Task Force executed a search warrant at the couple's home near Dassel.

The complaint states law enforcement officers found a total of 52.7 grams of methamphetamine during a search of the property, as well as 12 traditional guns and a functioning cannon.
