Families took a step back in time with an out-of-this-world event at Mall of America to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing.

"It's amazing to see them pick up new things and learn. They really like it," said Lewis Dickson, who was at the event.

The Challenger Learning Center of Minnesota turned the Rotunda into its very own solar system with 40-inch-wide planets, a 16-foot rocket, moon rocks and even edible Mars rovers.
