A motorcyclist nearly suffered a very costly loss in Wyoming, Minnesota.

Wyoming police said Friday on social media that a bystander found and gathered cash that was blowing in the wind. That person then turned it in to police.

At the same time, a motorcyclist called and reported he lost a fistful of cash, police said.

The department said, "yes, he had to produce a matching bank receipt to reclaim."

The picture posted by the department showed at least 40 $100 bills, although the department didn't specify how much the man lost.
