"Anyone missing a Python?"

That was the question Burnsville Police was asking after finding the snake Tuesday morning. However, the department later posted that it was informed the snake wasn't a python, but rather a Colombian red tail boa constrictor.

In a social media post, an officer was shown holding the snake with the caption, "It's not just dogs that we find on the loose. Anyone missing a Python?"

It's unclear exactly where it was found.
