Brooklyn Park Police Seek Help Finding Child

The Brooklyn Park Police Department is seeking help from the public in locating a missing child allegedly taken by her biological father, who was taken into custody on Monday.

A release said the man - identified as Trimell Chamberlain - has been uncooperative and has refused to provide information on the whereabouts of the child, whom the release said has been missing since he took her on May 1.

The child is identified as 2-year-old Try'Reshia Chamberlain. She is described as having black hair and brown eyes. She is around 2 to 2-and-a-half feet tall and weighs between 20 to 30 pounds.

According to the release, Trimell Chamberlain was determined to be unfit to care for children. He was arrested after a search warrant was executed by the Brooklyn Park SWAT team at an address in the city Monday.

Anyone with information on the child's whereabouts is asked to call the department at 763-493-8222.
