A body was found in the Minnesota River Thursday morning. 

According to the Scott County Sheriff's Office, at approximately 7:42 a.m., a body was located in the Minnesota River about 500 yards from the location of an unoccupied boat that was found near Belle Plaine on Monday.

Authorities had been searching the area for the missing boater the past four days.

The body will be identified with an official cause of death by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner's Office.

The Scott County Sheriff's Office is investigating. At this time, no foul play is suspected.
