Two people were rescued from a boat fire on Comfort Lake in Wyoming, Minn., at around 6 p.m. Friday night.

Two people were taking out their boat for the first time this season when a fire broke out in the engine compartment. Another boat with three people on board, identified as Darrell Debele, Mark Schauer and Troy Wilcox, was also out on the lake and saw the flames. They immediately sprang into action and rescued the stranded boaters.

The fire department was able to put out the fire primarily from shore, however one boat was launched to spray water closer to the boat.
