Blaine police say suspects in Red Kettle theft have been identified

Blaine police say the two individuals suspected of stealing from a Salvation Army Red Kettle earlier this month have been identified.

A Facebook post Friday said the case is being referred to the Anoka County Attorney's Office.

The post said 1.3 million people viewed the original Facebook post on the incident, which occurred on Dec. 4 outside of the Northtown Cub Foods.

The post said one of the hundreds of tips the department received led to the identification of the suspects.
