A Big Lake girl is raising money to help a family devastated by a deadly fire.

In April, 2-year-old Landon Parker, and his sister, 1-year-old Spencer Parker, died in a house fire. Two other children survived.

Investigators said they believe the kids' father started the fire. He later died.

Over the weekend, neighbor 8-year-old Serenity Boike set up a lemonade stand and raised more than $1,500 for the Parker family.

"She was pretty torn up about it," Cassie Boike said about her daughter after the fire. "She was pretty upset about it. It does make me really really proud and other people see that."

After cleaning up the damage from the fire, the Parker family hopes to move back into their home soon.
