Bicyclist Struck by Vehicle in Forest Lake, Transported by Air Care

A bicyclist was struck by a motorist Thursday night in Forest Lake.


The Forest Lake Police Department says the incident occurred near 12 Street and Broadway Avenue just before 5:30 p.m. The victim was then transported by Air Care to North Memorial Hospital, with their condition unknown at this time. Their name is also not being released at this time. 

The driver of the vehicle was cooperating at the scene and impairment is not suspected in this incident. 

Investigators are still working to determine if the bike was crossing the road or biking along the road.
