BCA Identifies Witness at Scene of Damond Shooting

Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension agents were able to locate and identify the bicyclist who was a witness to the officer involved shooting that killed Justine Damond, according to a news release from the BCA.

The BCA said the individual was seen on a bicycle on West 51st Street before the shooting. The individual also stopped at the scene and watched officers provide medical assistance to Damond.

The BCA did not release the name of the individual, but said they provided a statement Friday.

The BCA added that Officer Mohamed Noor has yet to provide a statement regarding the incident.
