Officials say a student reported missing from the University of Wisconsin-Stout has been found safe.

A school official said a law enforcement agency in Minnesota contacted the university's police department after learning the department was looking for 23-year-old Devon Jenkins-Joshua.

Authorities say officers were sent to his dorm room just after midnight Wednesday to do a welfare check and were unable to locate him.

Authorities are now working to reunite Jenkins-Joshua with his family.
