UPDATE: A man last seen leaving his home near Prior Lake on Sunday has been found dead.

The Scott County Sheriff's Office said Wednesday night that 48-year-old Daniel Joseph Bade was found dead in Bloomington.


The sheriff's office had been searching for Bade, and said he had health issues that created a concern for his safety.

Authorities said they don't believe his death to be suspicious at this time.

He was known by many as a dog rescue advocate.

No other details were immediately released.

The Scott County Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's help in locating a missing man.

The sheriff's office identified the man as 48-year-old Daniel Joseph Bade.

Bade was last seen leaving his home near Prior Lake on Sunday. 

He was seen wearing a charcoal gray sweatshirt and blue jeans. Bade was also driving a white 2010 Toyota Rav-4 with the Minnesota license plate number MLU012.

Authorities say Bade has health issues that create a concern for his safety.
