Authorities searching for missing Milaca man

UPDATE: The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension reported Dennis Eugene Mead was safely found in Vernon County, Wisconsin late Tuesday night.

Authorities safely locate missing Milaca man


Authorities in Milaca are asking for the public's help in locating a missing 75-year-old man, according to a release from the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension.

The BCA identified the man as Dennis Eugene Mead. 

Mead was last seen at his home Tuesday morning. The BCA said Mead has dementia and may be lost or confused. 

He is believed to be driving a 2016 orange Toyota Rav 4 with the Minnesota license plate 596-UZN, and was last seen wearing a blue and gray plaid shirt, blue jeans, a brown and green Columbia jacket, a Stormy Kromer style hat and tennis shoes. 

Anyone who knows of Mead's whereabouts is asked to call the Milaca Police Department at 320-983-8245.
