Authorities in Wisconsin say one man has been arrested after another was found dead Sunday in Menomonie.

A release from the Menomonie Police Department said a 911 call was received around 3:17 p.m. regarding a possible disturbance taking place on the 600 block of 15th Street SE.

When officers arrived at the residence, the body of 54-year-old John Matthew Likeness was discovered. Life-saving measures were attempted by first responders, but he was declared dead. Another male at the scene - identified as 52-year-old Richard Wayne Seehaver - was placed under arrest.

A release said he is currently in the Dunn County Jail awaiting charges.

The matter remains under investigation.
