Authorities have identified the man who died after being found with a gunshot wound Saturday morning in St. Cloud.

St. Cloud police said La'Darian D'Vonte Broadnax, 24, was found in the driver's side of a car when officers responded to the 300 block of 4th Avenue South at 3:34 a.m.

Officers provided aid and Broadnax was transported to a hospital, but was pronounced dead at the hospital, police said.

Based on preliminary investigation, police said they believe there was an altercation during a party at an apartment. The argument is believed to have proceeded outside and led to the shooting.
