The Hennepin County Sheriff's Office said it has been able to identify the individual. However, the sheriff's office did not release the person's name.


The University of Minnesota Public Safety Department along with the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's assistance in identifying and locating a missing person. 

According to a tweet from the Hennepin County Sheriff's Office, the man shown in the photos was last seen Monday at about 2:30 p.m.

He appears to have been wearing a maroon U of M shirt with gray athletic shorts. 

If anyone has any information about this missing person, they are asked to call Detective Braun at 612-569-9905.
