No plans this weekend? Need to get out of the house? Here is a look at what is going on in the Twin Cities this weekend.
Observe Veterans Day
Honor those who have served in the military by observing Veterans Day on Sunday. The state will hold its annual program at 10 a.m. Sunday at the Veterans Memorial Community Center in Inver Grove Heights. According to the state, this year's ceremony will have a special focus on the 100th anniversary of the armistice that ended WWI.
A number of restaurants are also offering free meals to veterans, including Denny's, Red Robin and White Castle.
The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is also encouraging veterans and active duty members to get outside on Veterans Day. The DNR is offering free year-round vehicle permits to all 75 state parks for active military personnel and veterans with a service-related disability.
Minneapolis Holiday Boutique
Find the perfect holiday season gift during the Minneapolis Holiday Boutique at U.S. Bank Stadium. According to event organizers, the holiday boutique will include hundreds of vendors offering apparel, decor, jewelry and more.

Cine Latino Film Festival
Immerse yourself in Spanish-language and Portugese-language cinema during the Cine Latino film festival. The event includes screenings of 14 different films from directors around the world. Screenings begin Friday and go through Nov. 15.

Brick Fest Live
LEGO fans unite! Brick Fest Live is a LEGO-inspired event at the St. Paul RiverCentre that provides "hands-on attractions and activities engineered to inspire, educate and entertain." The event is open to LEGO lovers of all ages.

Explore New Breweries
Over the weekend, two new breweries will celebrate their grand openings. Both Torg Brewery, in Spring Lake Park, and Broken Clock Brewing Cooperative, in northeast Minneapolis, will open their doors over the weekend. Both grand opening celebrations will include food, and Broken Clock will have live music.

Enter the vertical world during Boulderfest North, the Minneapolis Bouldering Project's largest event. Boulderfest North will include youth and adult bouldering competitions. For those not interested in climbing, spectating, live music, food trucks and vendor stands are available.

Mill City Indoor Winter Market
Find locally grown produce, as well as other food items during the Mill City Farmers Market indoor winter market. The market hosts more than 40 local farmers, food makers and artists.
