Celebrate the holiday season Friday with Minneapolis' Holidazzle. Holidazzle is downtown Minneapolis' premiere holiday celebration. The celebration includes food, shopping, a kid zone, movies, fireworks and more. 

Date: Thursday - Sunday through Dec. 23

Place: Loring Park, Minneapolis 

Making Spirits Bright at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum

Find inspiration for your holiday light display during Making Spirits Bright at the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum. During the event, participants can hike through the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum and enjoy 16 different lighting displays. 

Date: Friday - Sunday

Time: 5 to 9 p.m. 

Place: Minnesota Landscape Arboretum, Chaska 

St. Paul European Christmas Market

Get in the holiday mood by visiting the St. Paul European Christmas Market. According to the event organizers, the market is based on open-air Christkindlmarkts, which can be found in Germany and Austria during the Christmas season.

Place: Union Depot, St. Paul

St. Paul Ice Fishing and Winter Sports Show

Get ready for ice fishing over the weekend during the St. Paul Ice Fishing and Winter Sports Show. The event hosts all the biggest brands in the sport, showing off the latest gear and technology. 

Date: Friday - Sunday

Place: St. Paul RiverCentre, St. Paul

Afton Holiday Village

Head over to the east metro to get your holiday fill during the Afton Holiday Village. Participants can enjoy holiday crafts, a tree-lighting, wagon rides and carolers. They will also have an opportunity to shop at local Afton businesses.

Place: Afton

Shakopee Holiday Fest

Have your holiday fill yet? If not, make your way down to Shakopee to celebrate the season during Holiday Fest 2018. The event includes a parade, tree lighting and fireworks. 

Date: Friday

Time: 6 to 8 p.m.

Place: Downtown Shakopee

Mill City Indoor Winter Market

Find locally grown produce, as well as other food items during the Mill City Farmers Market indoor winter market. The market hosts more than 40 local farmers, food makers and artists. 

Date: Saturday

Time: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Place: Mill City Museum, Minneapolis

50th & France Winter Market

Minnesotans have yet another chance to find holiday goods over the weekend during the 50th & France Winter Market. The first market kicks off Saturday and will be held weekly through Dec. 15.

Time: 1 to 5 p.m.

Place: 50th & France, Edina 

Minneapolis International Festival

Celebrate and learn about the vast number of different cultures that live in Minneapolis during the Minneapolis International Festival. The free event includes exhibits, demonstrations, food and more. 

Date: Saturday

Time: 1 to 5 p.m.

Place: Central Gym, Minneapolis 

Linden Hills Holiday Market

See what more than 60 local craftspeople and food producers are up to during the Linden Hills Holiday Market. The weekly market offers an opportunity to pick up that perfect holiday gift and food. 

Date: Sunday

Time: 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Place: Sunnyside Gardens, Minneapolis
