Minneapolis - St. Paul International Film Festival


Cinephiles unite! Thursday marks the kick off of the 38th Annual Minneapolis-St. Paul International Film Festival. This year, the festival will screen more than 250 films. 

Date: Thursday, April 11- 20

Place: St. Anthony Main Theatre, Minneapolis 

Art in Bloom

Get in the mood for spring during Art in Bloom at the Minneapolis Institue of Art. For the event, there will be over 160 installations all made by floral artists

Date: Thursday - Sunday

River Falls Roots and Bluegrass Festival

Enjoy regional bluegrass, cajun and roots bands during the 2019 River Falls Roots and Bluegrass Festival. The free music will be played all weekend at venues around the city. The event also includes a craft beer and wine sampling, jam sessions and work shops.

Spring Antique Show 

Find a unique piece for your home during the Spring Antique Show at the Minnesota State Fair Ground. The two-day event is held at the Minnesota State Fair Ground Coliseum.

Date: Saturday and Sunday

Time: Saturday - 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday- 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Place: Minnesota State Fairgrounds, Falcon Heights. 

Minneapolis Community & Technical College Spring Graduation Powwow

Honor the Native American culture in Minnesota during the Minneapolis Community & Technical College's Spring Graduation Powwow. The event includes a feast at 5 p.m. The grand entry is at 6:30 p.m.

Time: 5 to 9:30 p.m.

Place: Minneapolis Community & Technical College, Minneapolis

Record Store Day

Audiophiles unite! Find the special release LP you've bee looking for or pick up cheap records, tapes and CDs from independent record stores during Record Store Day 2019. More than 30 stores in the state are participating in the special day.

Mill City Indoor Winter Market

Find locally grown produce, as well as other food items during the Mill City Farmers Market indoor winter market. The market hosts more than 40 local farmers, food makers and artists. 

Date: Saturday

Time: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Place: Mill City Museum, Minneapolis

University of Minnesota Dog Olympics

Get your fill of canines during the University of Minnesota Dog Olympics. Those who have dogs that are up to date on their rabies vaccinations are welcome to participate in the competitions. The event is put on by the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine and proceeds go to support Secondhand Hounds Animal Rescue.

Time: 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Place: Minnesota State Fairgrounds, Falcon Heights

Minnesota Craft Beer Festival 

Try hundreds of different beers during the Minnesota Craft Beer Festival at the Minneapolis Convention Center. Attendees will have the opportunity to try more than 400 beers from more than 130 different breweries.
