Paisley Park Celebration 2019


Celebrate the life of Minnesota music icon Prince during Paisley Park's Celebration 2019. The celebration will open up Prince's home and recording studio to fans from around the world. Live music performances include guitarist Jesse Johnson, The Revolution and Funk Soldiers.

Midwest Mountaineering Outdoor Adventure Expo

Outdoor enthusiasts may want to skip the trail and head over to Cedar-Riverside this weekend. Friday through Sunday, Midwest Mountaineering will hold its spring Outdoor Adventure Expo. The event will host more than 60 exhibitors and 85 presentations on topics including kayaking, lightweight backpacking, adventure travel and mountaineering.

St. Paul Art Crawl

See what local artists are up to during the St. Paul Art Crawl. The annual event serves as a chance for members of the St. Paul Art Collective to display their work. According to the organizers, the number of artists participating in the art crawl exceeds 300, with about 20,000 attendees. The St. Paul Art Collective holds art crawls every fall and spring.

Minnesota Horse Expo

Equine enthusiasts are set to gather at the State Fairgrounds over the weekend for the Minnesota Horse Expo. The event includes more than 700 trade show booths, the PRCA Rodeo and pony, horse and wagon rides.

Place: Minnesota State Fairgrounds, Falcon Heights 

Independent Book Store Day

Expand your home library and support local businesses during Independent Book Store Day. A total of 12 bookstores in the metro area are participating in the nation-wide event.

Mill City Indoor Winter Market

Find locally grown produce, as well as other food items during the Mill City Farmers Market indoor winter market. The market hosts more than 40 local farmers, food makers and artists.

HeadFlyer Brewing Anniversary Party 

Celebrate two years of local brews from HeadFlyer Brewing during the brewery's anniversary party this weekend. The event includes special beer releases, games, live music and food.

Time: Noon to midnight 

Place: HeadFlyer Brewing, Minneapolis

Songkran Uptown Block Party 

Celebrate the Thai New Year during the Songkran Uptown Block Party. The block party celebrates Southeast Asian culture with live performances, food, beer and wine and more.

Time: Noon to 9 p.m.

Place: Uptown, Minneapolis

Minneapolis Vintage Market at Paikka

Looking for that vintage jean jacket or band t-shirt? Find that one-of-a-kind item during the Minneapolis Vintage Market at Paikka. The market includes 19 different vendors from around the Twin Cities.

Time: 12 to 5 p.m.
