The Minnesota Red Cross said it is helping 22 families after a fire at an apartment building in Apple Valley Saturday morning.

More than 75 people were affected by the fire at a building on 123rd Street West, the Red Cross said. The building's property manager said the fire started around 3 a.m.

Apple Valley police said no residents or firefighters were injured.

Three of the building's 36 units were damaged by fire, according to the property manager, while a few others had smoke damage.
