The Minnesota State Fair keeps breaking attendance records in 2019.
On Saturday, attendance totals were announced by officials for Friday's numbers. According to State Fair officials, 157,224 visited the fairgrounds on Friday.

Opening Day attendance record set at 2019 State Fair
In comparison, the second day of the fair in 2018 saw just 108,059 people attend. The prior record for day two was 141,023, set in 2016. The fair set an attendance record for opening day on Thursday, with over 133,000 people attending the event.
