One person is injured from a shooting Sunday evening at a downtown Minneapolis business, officials say.

Minneapolis Police Department spokesman John Elder said a patron and a staff member got into an altercation just before 6:30 p.m. at Breakfast Bar on the 300 block of First Avenue North. At one point, a gun went off and struck the staff member.

The patron fled on foot, and no suspects are in custody.

The victim was taken to the hospital with a non-life-threatening injury.

The incident remains under investigation.
